The Pains of Being Pure At Heart

Which really should be the pains of the show being over in a blink of an eye.

Zaza opened.  I stood there listening and was already wondering how I would describe them.  Shoegaze… that ghastly term… is probably the best approximation, for lack of anything better.  The first song started and they continued to play through to the last one.  That was something I have not experienced, but it did work (at least for me).

Oh, the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. This was so good, but it just wasn’t enough.  I wanted more, right then and there.  Even with the always awkward 506 encore situation (one song), it wasn’t enough of this band.  It was brilliant.

It was a pretty full house and rightfully so. I’m guessing 8 to 10 songs and as I already said a one song encore. But again… not enough.  PLEASE come back again.
