Digging through the vinyl for Laurie Anderson
Seeing Laurie the other night reminded me that I owned her United States Live album, purchased ages ago when it was first released (and two years ago in CD form from the used bin at Sonic Boom). In vinyl form its a five record quasi box set (pictured). “Quasi” because its really not a box, but just an over sized album jacket. Overall its 78 songs and almost four and half hours of performance. Can you image what it would have been like to have seen this performed live?
