Film School

One out of three is not bad. It wouldn’t win me Carl Kasell’s voice on my home answering machine, but for a night out it will do.

I went to Local 506 last night to see Film School (they were the one out of three). Opening acts of Eulogies and Division Day were nothing to write about (if you have nothing to say, then say nothing at all… so I’m saying nothing), but Film School was excellent.

I had a feeling there would be a light turnout (it was) because Film School (much like Earlimart) is more famous on the West Coast (which is a lose for the East Coast). Even with the small crowd, the band appeared to enjoy themselves and were able to feed off the energy from the audience (we received three excellent songs as an encore).  There was a good mix of new and old songs, with outstanding rendition of Lectric.  Go see them if you get a chance… they are a must see.

Apologies for the really, really, really crappy camera phone shot, but I was sitting in the very back of the room (and not even Photoshop can save this one).
