Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.

There was a great piece on the NY Times today (get it while you can) about food and
nutrition from Michael Pollen. It pretty much confirms my beliefs on eating i.e. eat a well-balanaced meal, preferably with lots of veggies and fruits, and you should be fine.

It runs along with my theory that we really do not have a good understanding of how things like cholesterol and other so-labeled ‘bad for us;’ things affect us. How many years aog was it when all cholesterol was bad? And now its broken down into good and bad? Next it will be something else… something that will keep pharma’s profits high as they sell the latest drug to reduce/increase what is bad/good for us. It all seems a little bit fishy to me.
