On the bike (yet again)

I’m starting (yet again) to ride my bicycle.  Since exercise is one way to help lower cholesterol, I’m using it as my motivation.

I’m using my old Cat-Eye trainer with my Schwinn 434 (my first good bike).  I don’t put my Paramount in the trainer (afraid it will damage the frame).

I’ve just turning the pedals over for now for 30 minute sessions.  Five times a week will be a good start until my muscles loosen up to the motion.

If it lasts I may try to do a metric century (or two) come the spring/summer.  I’ll be an old man out there… with a 15 year old bike (and gear to match).  I’m really just hoping there is still some spring left in these aging muscles.
