Digging through the vinyl for Klark Kent
Who the hell is Klark Kent? I suspect very few people know the answer… and I’m not talking about the alter ego of Superman
(that’s a Clark with a “C”).
I’ll tell you in a second, but check out the neat packaging of this eight song release. Notice the nice notch in the jacket for the letter “K”? You can’t do a 12″ record with that so you get a 10″. On top of that, it’s green so we have a play on Kryptonite. The album is entitled Music Madness from the Kinetic Kid and was released on Kryptone Records (I.R.S.). Big hint right there considering Klark Kent’s brother was one of the founders of I.R.S.
The answer is Stewart Copeland of The Police (his brother was Miles).
